Admission policies, in the school's words

We will accept MCAT scores as far back as 4 years prior to matriculation. So, for Fall 2027 matriculants, we will accept MCAT scores from 2023 through October 2026. But we strongly recommend that you take the exam as early as possible. It is important to both apply early and to know your MCAT scores when you submit your AMCAS application. This will allow you to apply to schools where your application will be competitive. Please also remember that you must meet our MCAT prescreening criteria of 502 total AND at least a 124 in each of the four subtests in order to receive an invitation to complete the Emory Supplemental Application. Applicants are expected to follow the AAMC Application and Acceptance Protocols for Applicants. Accepted applicants may hold only one acceptance to medical school after April 30. By June 1st, accepted applicants must accept "Plan to Enroll" and by July 20, accepted applicants must select "Commit to Enroll" for Emory School of Medicine in the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School (CYMS) Tool. Additionally, accepted applicants must comply with all terms of their acceptance and must submit all required information, forms, and training required prior to beginning medical school in August. This includes a background check, drug screening and completion of all training, immunization and vaccination requirements. Full details will be shared with accepted applicants.
