This means the course can be taken in-person, hybrid, or online. Courses must still be from a U.S. college/university that is regionally accredited and need to be less than 10 years old at the time of application. Pass/Fail Prerequisite Coursework Consideration for prerequisite courses that were graded as pass/fail or satisfactory/unsatisfactory due to COVID-19 may be accepted from the following semesters without prejudice: Winter 2020, Spring 2020, Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Spring 2021, Summer 2021, Fall 2021. If you are applying from a school that had a similar tragedy that also resulted in a pass/fail grade on a prerequisite instead of a letter grade, please email the office of admissions at the time of your application. For more information on how pass/fail affects the AMCAS GPA calculation, please visit their website. Application Deadline AMCAS applications may be submitted until October 1 each cycle. For an interactive calendar related to the AMCAS process, please visit the AAMC website. Similarly, you can also submit if you have letters of recommendation pending. Again, we will wait for those to arrive, however at least three qualifying letters must be in by October 1. UNLV is no longer participating in the Early Decision Program. Applicants who have a strong interest in UNLV should simply apply early in the cycle.
