Admission policies, in the school's words

COVID-19 - Information for 2026 Admissions Cycle Pass/Fail Coursework: Acknowledging the challenges brought by COVID, For coursework during or after Spring 2020 and through Spring 2022, AMS will accept pass/fail and on-line coursework, even for prerequisite courses. Passing the course will satisfy our requirement, whether pass/fail or graded. Candidates should consider that academic aptitude in the sciences is one among a number of factors considered in selecting students, so a graded option when available may be preferable for those with limited science coursework. MCAT scores are required for the standard AMCAS route of admissions. The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University considers a maximum of three (3) application attempts.
