Interview

Traditional / one-on-oneVirtual
Format
Interviews are conducted by a three-person team made up of admission committee members: an MD, a PhD and a medical student. One of the three members will take lead, but all three will ask questions.
Invitations sent
We begin sending interview invites in October for ND applicants and November through December for all other applicants.
Typical interview day
The interview day provides an important opportunity for applicants and members of the UND SMHS community to get to know each other. Current medical students conduct a Q & A on each interview day to answer applicant's questions.
Regional interviews
Interviews take place during specific Fridays and Saturdays in October, November, December and January.
Video interviews
All interviews will be conducted over Zoom.
School's admissions page says
Virtual interviews of about 45-60 minutes with a three-member panel (basic scientist, clinician and medical student).
